INTERSPACE — Computational Impact and Energy Transfer Research

Discipline: computational mechanics, multiphysics modeling, numerical verification, energy harvesting.

Problem: Assess a ring-supported hemispherical lattice as an impact-transmission and electromechanical energy-recovery architecture. Evaluate deployment constraints and compare baseline structures without assuming speculative field interactions are real.

Engineering deliverables: Python simulation modules for lattice impact, effective coupling, 3D dome dynamics, triangular surface contact, deployment power audits, piezoelectric load models and validation scripts; reproducible numerical figures and explicit model limitations.

Methods: Morse potentials, mass-spring-damper networks, Newtonian dynamics, penalty contact, reciprocal piezoelectric lumped models, energy/momentum audits and parameter sweeps.

Result: A working research prototype with tested mathematical components. Illustrative deployment cases violate assumed power/force limits; field-mediated free-standing impact arrest remains unsubstantiated. No material-calibrated performance or experimental efficiency is claimed.

Potential applications of transferable algorithms: impact-protective structures, instrumented membranes, vibration-energy harvesting, numerical design of deployable devices, coupled mechanical/electrical simulation.

Suggested portfolio screenshots: mesh geometry with node IDs; impact trajectory; conservation residual; actuator power trace; voltage/energy flow; benchmark tables. Avoid aestheticized force-field imagery.
